Cognitive Science Beijing Symposium 2011

The twenty-first century is a century of humans rather than technologies. Cognitive science, an emerging interdisciplinary field that studies the brain, the mind, and human behavior, has increasingly become a major research thrust in the coming decades. In this context, Cognitive Science Beijing Symposium 2011 (CSBS2011) will be held at Tsinghua University, Beijing during June 17-18, 2011. Co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Tsinghua University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, CSBS2011 will be the first high-level symposium in cognitive science in China. The aim of CSBS2011 is to bring together a group of top cognitive scientists, both internationally and in China, to share newest research ideas and discoveries, explore research collaboration opportunities, and discuss the trends and directions in cognitive science research.

The symposium emphasizes interaction. Invited talks will be delivered in morning and afternoon sessions and panel discussion will be held in each afternoon to allow participants to freely discuss mutually interested issues. Due to the format of the symposium, seats will be limited to 50. Registration will be open soon. Please check out the symposium schedule and logistics.
